ABOUT MANDY RADES
My journey in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) began in 2007. For nearly a decade, I worked hands-on as a behavior technician across a variety of clinical settings in Wisconsin and Colorado, gaining a deep appreciation for the impact of compassionate, data-driven care. In 2016, I earned my master’s degree in ABA and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), marking a turning point in my professional path.For over 12 years, Firefly Autism was my professional home. During that time, I had the opportunity to serve in a wide range of roles, including Director of Clinical Services. I helped build and lead Firefly South, mentored clinicians, and supported countless families and learners across diverse settings.I’m passionate about cultivating strong teams, empowering other BCBAs, and sharing the science of behavior in ways that are both accessible and impactful. I’m especially drawn to values-based approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACTr), and I believe meaningful change happens when science meets heart.Currently, I’m proud to be co-founding Threaded Roots ABA Collective, a values-driven ABA clinic focused on connection, authenticity, and quality care for both clients and clinicians.Let’s connect.
