Instructor teaching Professional Communications (PC2500). Effective oral presentation skills are probably some of the most important tools students can have tosucceed in academic and commercial workplaces. PC2500 gives students experience analyzingthe rhetorical contexts of audiences, evaluating others’ presentations, designing effectivepresentations using PowerPoint software, utilizing other presentation technologies, and actual experience speaking publicly by requiring several presentations over the course of the semester. Additional courses taught: JOUR 3470 (Public Relations Writing) and JOUR 3740 (Advertising Copy & Layout).
