ABOUT MANDY GIESBRECHT
I often refer to my professional experience as S.T.A.R.(skilled through alternate routes) because I decided to jump into the workforce and start a family after high school, rather than pursue a post-secondary degree. This has afforded me 25+ years of experience working in the public sector, the last dozen consisting of progressively complex leadership positions, along with a very different lived experience than those who took the academic path. Different lived experience make our teams diverse - and diversity makes organizations stronger. My work experience is complemented by certificates in HR, Change Management, and Executive Leadership, along with a list of high profile references who can validate my work ethic and the career successes that got me here. My passion is enabling smarter work. I approach challenges and opportunities through a continuous improvement lens. I am an action-driven, innovative servant leader who takes pride in the ability to build diverse teams with wide skillsets, purposefully seeking out candidates with skills I don\'t have.
