ABOUT MANDY GEORGE
I am a senior analyst at Staples Canada, and am passionate about all things analytics. I am a 3x member of the Adobe Analytics Champions program, coordinator for the Adobe Analytics Office Hours, and Community Advisor. I have spoken at several Skill Exchange webinars and was a speaker at Adobe Summit 2024 where I won the Analytics Rockstars competition. I have written content for Experience League, including a guide on the segment builder and quick segments in workspace and an upcoming piece about using functions in calculated metrics. I enjoy making segments and calculated metrics to discover previously unknown insights.I am currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology at Memorial University of Newfoundland. My area of research is mathematical cognition, focusing on the impact of gamification on motivation and self-concept in mathematical learning.My young adult fiction novel, The Madeiran Guardians: Awakening, is available from Amazon in paperback and kindle editions.
