As Founder & Chief Everything Officer at Mandira’s Kitchen, I wear many hats—sometimes a chef’s apron, other times a strategist’s thinking cap, and occasionally a shower cap to keep the smell of spices out of my hair.At Mandira’s Kitchen, I’ve taken the business from its humble beginnings on my kitchen table to its present converted cowshed setting and an award-winning, medium-sized enterprise serving authentic Indian food across the UK.My role spans everything from creating mouth-watering new recipes (read: experimenting with spices until the kitchen smells heavenly) to setting the strategic direction of the business. I collaborate with retailers, venues, and wedding planners, all while juggling the finer details of running a business. Whether it’s designing immersive food experiences, launching a new product, or cracking a joke over “Tea with Mandira,” I try to bring creativity and a sprinkle of Bollywood sparkle to everything I do.I’m passionate about sustainability, supporting local businesses, and empowering women in entrepreneurship.
