My experience has taken me through many interesting research opportunities including development of a Covid-19 (EUA approved) test for saliva, companion diagnostics for cancer trials, novel discovery of inflammatory participation by type 1 alveolar lung cells, working with transgenic goats that produced human antimicrobial enzymes in their milk. My colleagues would describe me as a driven, resourceful individual who maintains a positive, proactive attitude when faced with complex problems. I take joy in passing on my knowledge and watching others grow and succeed. I believe that open lines of communication, careful consideration of different ideas, and finding ways to compliment each team member\'s strengths is the optimal method for achieving success.
