About Mandar Kale
I’ve been part of building three design schools in India. Founding member of two — both zero to one.My journey over the last two decades has gone from designer to instructor to teacher to head of department to manager to where I am now — holding vision and operations together without losing sight of people.Outside of that I’m investigating human-AI coexistence. I think through drawing. I love motorsport, concept art, science fiction and the kind of imagination that asks “what if.”I’m always looking for that aha moment. Seeing it happen in someone else makes it worthwhile.Equally at home in front of a packed classroom, a quiet conversation, a messy project, or alone with a sketchbook.
