Engineering Manager with more than 25 years of experience in detailed plant engineering to construction & commissioning for new and retrofit, simple and combined cycle utility power plants, refineries, cryogenic gas processing, metals & mineral processing, food and biofuels plants. Responsible for management of multi-disciplinary engineering teams consisting of more than 200 engineers and designers located in multiple states. Developed detailed manpower resource tracking tools for assignment of team members on 100 plus projects simultaneously. Responsible for weekly tracking of project key performance indicators and team utilization. Responsible for identification of staffing needs, recruitment, resource allocations and day to day operations. Responsible for development of company standards, procedures and specifications and making sure those are implemented on projects. Approval of timesheets, expense reports, setting of performance goals, performance evaluations and training.Acting as project manager and project sponsor, managed multiple industrial projects in Power, Oil & Gas and Mining. Leading multi-discipline project team so that projects are executed within constraints of schedule, manpower and budget.Working with market sector directors as part of senior leadership team to identify potential opportunities, growth areas and proposal strategies. Support BD team with client presentations to expand business in strategic growth areas. Helped on multiple proposals for new combined cycle and coal fired plants, power plant, mining, O&G and refinery upgrade projects. Supporting BD effort on renewables including PV solar, battery storage and microgrids. Responsible for development of proposal scope document, man hour and cost estimates.
