ABOUT MANDAR KULKARNI

I have 15+ years work-experience in the Information Technology Industry, specializing in delivering high quality Banking/Finance Domain software projects. I have hands-on experience on SDLC and expertise working on AGILE projects in cross-functional teams, spread across geographies.In my current role as Product Owner (Data Governance), I collaborate with different Lines of Business to help them capture Business & Technical Metadata using Collibra, the industry leading Data Governance Platform to reduce Technology Debt, boost Knowledge Retention and help with Regulatory Compliance. I also drive the Data Literacy program in my organization by hosting Monthly User Trainings to ensure everyone understands the Business Value of Data by cataloging and governing the data so that it can be trusted for decision making. Over the years, I have added a variety of skills relevant to my work like Stake holder Management, Clients Requirements Gathering and Analysis, Creating Functional Specifications Documents, Effort estimation, Test Strategy Planning and UAT Support, Sprint planning and Project Management & Delivery.I have been part of the delivery team for various types of projects like Client on-boarding, Regulatory Reporting, Capital Markets related Reporting, Business Intelligence Reporting, Data Governance etc.As a founder member of Innovation Cell, I have successfully conducted organization wide ‘Idea Generation’ workshops, to achieve Management’s twin goals of ‘Higher Efficiency’ and ‘Customer Satisfaction’.In the past, I have worked with large MNCs like TCS Canada, BNP Paribas India, Infosys Ltd and Tech Mahindra and have successfully delivered projects with exceptional quality and within the expected timelines.
