Global Policy Lead for the Violent Speech policies. I work on developing, maintaining, and enforcing the Hate Speech policies in the Facebook Community Standards. This involves working with policy, product, legal, communications, and operations teams to ensure that our hate speech policies are accurately enforced, constantly evolving and improving, and effectively communicated internally and externally- I manage a team of subject matter experts in APAC who develop, enforce and communicate our global content policies that apply to over 3 billion people- I work on critical escalations and crisis situations, where I work with cross-functional teams to develop policy, enforcement, and engagement solutions that ensure user safety and mitigate business risks- I also engage with members of civil society, government officials, researchers, and the media about Meta\'s content policy philosophy, development process, compliance with regulation and changes to existing policy.
