ABOUT MANALI KATE

I am a postgraduate in Pharmaceutical Chemistry with a strong foundation in drug chemistry, formulation science, and analytical R&D. My academic and industry exposure has strengthened my scientific thinking, problem-solving ability, and passion for innovation—especially in areas where science and strategy intersect.Driven by a deep interest in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), I am actively transitioning my career into the pharma-IP domain. I am currently upskilling myself in:• Patent search and analysis• Prior art search• Patent databases and search tools• Literature search strategies• Data visualisation• Patent analytics fundamentalsI am also pursuing courses from WIPO and other recognised platforms to build a strong understanding of patents, exclusivity strategies, and the global IP landscape relevant to pharmaceuticals.I am enthusiastic about applying my chemistry knowledge, research mindset, and growing IP skill set to support innovation protection, patentability evaluations, portfolio development, and non-infringement assessments.I am open to opportunities in Intellectual Property Rights, Patent Analytics, and Pharma-IP roles, where I can contribute to and grow within this dynamic and impactful field.
