ABOUT MANAL ANIS
At the heart of my academic pursuit is the development of responsive climate-adaptive building envelopes, a commitment that spans over 4.5 years as a PhD Candidate at the University of Illinois. At my current position as a Research Assistant at the RAL lab, School of Architecture, UIUC, I am exploring groundbreaking solutions that can significantly improve building performance and occupant comfort through performance optimization and prediction using AI. My previous roles as a designer and current role as a researcher amplified my ability to merge practical design applications with environmental stewardship, culminating in an enriching exchange of ideas and sustainable practices.See my work at https://manalanis.web.illinois.edu/
