First hand experience in working through the entire product cycle and a mixed bag of technology expertise ranging from.Net to Java, web apps to mobile apps!In my current role:* I lead a team of highly skilled developers, refine requirements in consultation with Product Owner, Scrum Master, Director, Tech Architect, Product Management group.* Engage with other feature team engineering leads/managers for dependent features and plan execution in collaboration with scrum masters.* Groom the backlog and arrive at priorities in discussion with Product Owner.* Clear any technical blockers.* Responsible for technical decisions for the product.* Perform code reviews.* Keep up code quality with timely chores for refactoring the application, improving code coverage (target 90%) and also clearing tech debts as reported on SonarQube.* Resolve any technical vulnerabilities reported.* Address and troubleshoot performance issues.* Propose and implement hotfix for production bugs after tracking the root cause by reviewing logs available in Cloud watch, Kibana, etc.* Implement/design database schema for the application.* Engage with developers one-to-one to share timely feedback and also take care of their performance appraisals.* Chalk out foolproof ways to help them achieve their yearly development goals and provide any assistance as needed.* Resolve conflicts within the team.* Identify strengths and provide opportunities to build on their focus areas.
