ABOUT MAMATA BASHAR
I am a recent business graduate from the Odette School of Business, University of Windsor and am searching for opportunities in Toronto. The following includes an overview of my skill set and strengths: Logistics & Supply Chain Expertise: I just completed the Master of Management program in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the University of Windsor. I am excited to transfer the knowledge gained to the organization I join, bringing new insights and best practices to the logistics & supply chain field. Analytical & Quantitative Skills: I have a passion for data. Just recently, I was a finalist in the University of New Brunswick data challenge – 115 teams participated! I have learnt calculating aggregate demand planning, forecasting models and other supply chain analytic models from my master degree. Apart from this, I have an experience of evaluating data and present my in-depth analysis in Microsoft Excel. Currently, I am learning python and is aiming for good analytics certification. Research & Finance Experience I was selected for and completed a Research Assistantship at the University of Windsor on Indigenous community on a government funded project. Besides completing a graduate management degree, I also have a bachelor’s degree in finance and experience as a bridge of cross-functional teams as I collaborated on projects of business channel developments, sales data, continuous improvement. Student Leadership: As a student leader, I was elected to the Master of Management Society where I served as the Vice President, Marketing. I was also a student mentor where I coached and advised new students regarding their transition needs to graduate studies at the Odette School of Business. I’m excited to continue my career journey and use the knowledge I gained as a Master of Management student to leverage data for decision making and business improvement. I believe in continuous improvement and development. Fun fact about me: I love cooking and inventing new dishes.
