ABOUT MAMADOU DIOP

With 10 years’ experience in the industry including an exposure to the metallurgy and oil/gas fields, Mamadou Diop obtained the degree of Meng in Mineral Processing from The University of British Columbia in May 2013 in Vancouver. During the past 10 years, he developed the capacity to multitask under pressure and to adapt easily to different environment by working in four different continents and studying in top universities in three continents, and he is eager to learn new ideas and skills. Alongside his scholar and work exposure, he volunteered for YMCA of greater New York, the CIM and AME BC and is a member of these last two organizations. He also has been involved in the activities of many clubs during his studies (MSA UBC, French Club UBC, Japanese Club UBC, and Debate Club UBC) and was the President of the Polytech Annecy-Chamberry Solex Club from 2005 to 2006.
