About Mamadou Beye

Mamadou Blondin Beye is General Manager Corporate Affairs for Chevron International Exploration and Production (E&P). He is responsible of Chevron’s international government affairs, communication, corporate responsibility, policy activities for the Africa, Eastern Mediterranean and Middle East regions. Mamadou joined Chevron in 1997 and has over 25 years of progressive, diversified experience on Corporate Policy, Government Affairs, International Development and Business Development. He has worked in Angola, Chad, South Africa, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Prior to his current assignment, Mamadou held positions as General Manager for Policy, Government Affairs, and Public Affairs for Latin America and Africa region; Manager of International Affairs in Washington D.C. and Manager for Corporate Responsibility of Chevron’s Southern Africa Strategic business unit. He is chairman of the Niger Delta Partnership Initiative foundation and serves on the board of the Africa-America Institute (AAI), the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of Rice 360° Institute for Global Health – Rice University. He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) University of Montreal, Canada, and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management in Boston.
