ABOUT MALUMIR R. LOGAN
Seasoned public sector leader with strategic and operational experience in programs and policy, and leadership in practice with two decades of work experience. Also an Adjunct Professor at the Queen’s University School of Policy Studies. Driven by the belief that exemplary, people-centred leadership and practical, high-performing efficacy go hand in hand, I take pride in delivering effective leadership with this ethos. I have been recognized by my senior leadership team for my extraordinary commitment to efficacious program policy leadership, operations and team development. When I’m not running, hiking/snowshoeing, or eating good food, I can be found helping others find their empowerment. I have volunteered for 25 years with charitable organizations helping children, youth, and those living with Tourette Syndrome. I\'m a mixed settler and neurodivergent, and I always welcome questions on people-centered, diverse leadership and organizational design from an intersectional perspective. Recent achievements: • Oversee the strategy and operations of a highly visible $2+ billion program for municipal infrastructure funding, including successful oversight, policy, program design and review, change management, stakeholder engagement and client delivery. • Oversee strategic implementation of a regulation that applies to all municipalities in Ontario. • Lead financial management, oversight, and administration of hundreds of funding contracts; relevant IT and enterprise platforms that deliver contracted funding; issues (media) management and public-facing communications; as well as, stakeholder engagement. • Adjunct Professor of leadership course for Professional MPA students at the School of Policy Studies at Queen\'s University, Kingston, Ontario. • Adjunct Professor of an early public service careers navigation course for MPA students at the School of Policy Studies at Queen\'s. • Successful simultaneous leadership of multiple cross-functional teams of 10+ professionals each, through several organizational transformations in a people-centered way. • Track record of advocating for meaningful diversity, equity and belonging in hiring, operations and longterm planning. • Project management of an IT project worth $1.5 million to successfully deliver hundreds of millions of dollars to several hundred recipients. • Overseeing successful program design for over $700 million of cost-shared federal infrastructure funding programs. In sum, I am a people-centric leader who believes that how we work matters as much as what we accomplish.
