With over 16 years of international experience in trade fair and project management, I am currently responsible for two globally leading portfolios at Messe Düsseldorf GmbH: XPONENTIAL Europe, Europe’s premier event for autonomous and uncrewed systems as well as „The Bright World of Metals“ (GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS, NEWCAST), the world’s leading platform for the global foundry and metallurgical industries.My role bridges two essential worlds:On one side, I lead XPONENTIAL Europe, a future-focused initiative created in partnership with AUVSI (USA) and UAV DACH (Germany), promoting innovation in uncrewed systems across air, land, sea and space. We explore emerging domains such as eVTOL, UTM, smart infrastructure and drone integration, positioning the event as a catalyst for Europe’s advanced air mobility and automation leadership.On the other side, I serve as Director for „The Bright World of Metals“, a comprehensive ecosystem representing the entire value chain of industrial transformation from metallurgy and thermoprocessing to foundry technologies and high-performance casting solutions.Here, my focus lies on the integration of sustainability, digitalization and resilient supply chain strategies into traditional heavy industries, aligning these sectors with global megatrends and industrial decarbonization goals.By combining these domains, I help shape Messe Düsseldorf as a platform for cross-industry collaboration where deep industrial know-how meets frontier technologies and innovations.As a former professional athlete and strategist, I bring discipline, foresight and passion for progress to every project.
