Our company is working towards delivering oceanic renewable energy in a highly cost competitive format.I am the Chief Founder of Greenshore Energy. My entrepreneurial epiphany started during a chance stop over at Copenhagen Airport in December 2008. I saw the Middlegrunden Offshore Wind Farm, at a slight distance from the airport. This largely sparked my interest in offshore wind energy and I did wonder if India with a long coastline could replicate this model. I then founded Greenshore Energy in March 2009. At a seminar hosted by C-WET (now NIWE) in July 2010, I met all the stakeholders for offshore wind energy in India, including my mentor and advisor, Dr L R Chary. It has been a promising and exciting journey since then.We are focussed on this emerging sector, which holds immense untapped potential.We have proposed to develop India\'s first offshore wind energy project.Our company comprises of highly experienced marine engineers, oceanographers, former high ranking naval officials, offshore structural experts, project managers and former top officials from leading pension, infrastructure funds. We are also closely advised by leading former CFOs of Fortune 500 firms.We are also advised by very senior former retired IAS Officers.
