About Mallika Makker

As a Director of Food & Beverage with HEI Hotels & Resorts, I lead the Food & Beverage Department of Embassy Suites By Hilton Waltham. I have successfully lead certain projects, the biggest of them being the installation of a brand new POS system. I manage overall operations of all the hotel outlets, including all the event management operations under banquets. Working closely with associates, I am able to ensure that the whole F&B runs smoothly so I can oversee other areas of improv in the hotel as well. I have pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Massachusetts Boston with a focus on leadership and organizational change. I have gained valuable experience in F&B, operations management and event management. My core competencies include defining requirements, organizational psychology, resource management, diversity, equity and inclusion, workplace culture, career development, operations management, finance management and strategic workforce planning. I am driven by the goal of contributing my knowledge, skills, and determination in a professional work environment that allows me to grow while fulfilling organizational goals.
