About Chris Maliwat
I’ve always been fascinated by the intersection of technology, commerce, and human behavior—how the right digital experience can turn a casual visitor into a loyal customer. Whether I’m scaling digital businesses at Netflix, Facebook, and Warby Parker or leading product innovation at Victoria Beckham Beauty, I focus on building platforms that engage, brands that resonate, and strategies that drive sustainable growth.I’m also deeply invested in mentorship and inclusion. As a board member of Out in Tech, I support the world’s largest nonprofit for LGBTQ+ tech leaders, working to create opportunities, challenge norms, and push for a more diverse industry. The best innovations don’t happen in silos—they happen when people from different perspectives come together.Outside of work, I’m a published photographer, drawn to themes of identity, resilience, and the poetry of everyday life. My work has been featured in The Guardian, Lenscratch, and L’Œil de la Photographie. My first monograph, Subwaygram, is a love letter to New York’s subway system—its people, their fleeting expressions, and the quiet stories unfolding between stops.I also serve as a Google Pixel Ambassador, leading branded photowalks and content campaigns that merge mobile technology with authentic street photography. In 2025, my work will be exhibited in Naples as part of the Paris International Street Photo Awards.I thrive at the intersection of creativity, commerce, and connection—blending data, design, and human insight to build what’s next. If you want to talk product, growth, photography or great BBQ, let’s connect.
