When I get an opportunity to do something different, I grab it.Launching the Salt Lake City Mortgage Fulfillment Center for KeyBank’s West Coast territory was an exciting new frontier for me. After spending more than 10 years at Key leading a group of mortgage loan officers in Ohio, I now oversee a team of processors, underwriters and closers in Utah. And we’re still growing: it’s a lot to keep up with, but I know my team and I are up to the challenge.My enthusiasm for risk-taking and my team spirit have always drawn me to leadership roles. My present responsibilities include overseeing: the center’s loan pipeline and escalated loans quality control and regulatory compliance recruiting, onboarding and training of new employees office build-out and operations enhancementsMaintaining quality work from top to bottom is a group effort. I take pride in creating an environment where community is valued. Recognizing each other’s strengths and accomplishments fosters a sense of respect and cooperation. This combination of positive energy, collaboration and sky-high standards allows my team to meet any goal.Since my family and I moved out to Utah, we’ve discovered that we’re crazy about hiking. For me, it’s a great release from the work week. I get to breathe in the mountain air, explore new trails and take in those gorgeous natural vistas.
