WORK HISTORY
Peer Health Partner @Center For The Study Of Human Health At Emory University
Atlanta, GA, US
The Peer Health Partner (PHP) program encourages students to share strategic, personalized approaches to a healthy lifestyle with their peers. With mentorship from Human Health core faculty, Peer Health Partners gain essential knowledge in the science of health, experiential training in health education, and significant professional skill development. In my time as a Peer Health Partner, I have facilitated discussions and led structured activities to improve understanding of health concepts crucial for college life. I create unique and practical ways to connect with one’s emotional, relational, professional, physical, and financial wellbeing through specific lessons on topics like stress management, sleep hygiene, nutrition, and mindfulness. I focus on creating a health vision based on promotive health behaviors while acting as a health advocate to guide freshmen to on-campus resources.
