ABOUT MALIK SHAKOOR
I am a U.S. Army Chaplain that provides Religious support for ALL Soldiers and their Families. I nurture the living, care for the wounded and honor the fallen. In addition, I advise my leadership on the morale as well moral and ethical issues. My passion is to IMPACT, INFLUENCE, and IMPROVE the lives of ALL those I come in contact with. I utilize my transparency as well as my relatability, likeability and approachability to connect with people regardless their religious, ethnic or cultural background. I am a husband and father of two little girls and one baby boy. I have a rich background in chaplaincy that includes: West Haven VA Hospital, Wesleyan University, Washington Department of Corrections and the U.S. Air Force. I currently hold six degree\'s:(Ph.D) Doctor of Philosophy in Education with the specialization in Leadership in Higher Education, MDiv. at Hartford Seminary, M.A. in Interfaith Action at Claremont Lincoln University, B.S. in Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Maine, and two Associates (Finance and Fine Arts) at Spoon River College.
