About Malik Rose

Experienced basketball and business executive with a proven track record of success. Skilled in sports management, business development, strategic management and talent acquisition & development. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. I graduated from Drexel University with a dual concentration in Computer Information Systems and Education with a mathematics certification. After a 13-year NBA career, I retired having been a member of multiple championship winning teams as well as an Executive V.P. of the National Basketball Players Association. In 1997 I founded the Positive Image AAU Basketball team which uses basketball to educate and empower inner city youth. To date, we have helped over 200 young men go to 4-year colleges and universities with many of them making it to the professional ranks. Finally, since 1998 I’ve partnered with multiple organizations in various philanthropic efforts to raise money and awareness for several causes. Including the S.A. chapters of the National Kidney and National Lupus Foundations, Family Services and the Salvation Army.
