ABOUT MALIK KHODJAEV
For the past 8 years, I worked in the IT industry. During this period, I worked as a front-end developer for 6 years, then switched to Project management. I have been an IT Project Manager for the last 3.5+ years and continue my adventure. I’ve great experience both in startups and big enterprise projects. I’ve grown a team from 1 developer to 14 team members in Uzbekistan startup with a total x4 project budget increasing. Managed multiple international teams in one of the biggest European outsourcing companies remotely from France, Poland, and the UK (right now, I’m here). I rebuilt the process of managing the «bench» as a result of 4 internal systems boosting their development for months without any extra hiring. Improve the existing SDLC for one of the top pharmaceutical analytics firms worldwide, as a result, a 30% increase in early bug detection. Code quality improvement even during the active phase of new hiring in the teams. Moreover, I love to share my knowledge and my mentoring experience is successful. The experience helps me a lot to navigate both stakeholders and dev teams during any phase of the project even in a red code situation. Thanks to my tech background, I can quickly parachute right into any project, analyse the current situation, and, together with the team, plan the next steps for improving the existing situation.
