ABOUT MALIA PRICE
As the daughter of a hard-working single mother, I learned at an early age that there is no substitute for grit, determination and heart. I began my legal career at Farris, Riley & Pitt as the receptionist in 2015 and eventually joined partner Kirby Farris as his litigation legal assistant. The attorneys at FRP were the catalyst to my decision to attend law school. So, I worked full-time with our team during the day and attended law school at night and on weekends. My experience balancing those competing demands taught me the value of nose to the grindstone work leading to my practice motto - I may not be able to out lawyer, out experience or outsmart my opponent, but I can always outwork them. Curious, innovative and competitive, I believe complex litigation, especially products liability and industry accident cases, best use my skills and natural abilities. At the end of the day, everything I do is centered around my clients and I pride myself on being there for them for the long haul. I am a proud member of the Committee of 25 of Girls, Inc. of Central Alabama (where I serve as Secretary), the Alabama Association for Justice (where I serve on the Emerging Leaders Board and am a member of the Elite Leadership Academy), and the Women Lawyers Section of the Birmingham Bar Association (where I serve as the Membership Chair). In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, live music and chasing around my dogs.
