ABOUT MALIA NELSON
I recently graduated from Georgia Tech with my Bachelors of Science in Psychology with Highest Honors and double minors in Spanish and Health & Medical Sciences. Currently, I am a medical assistant at ENT of Georgia and applying to medical school with an interest in pediatrics where I can focus on patient education as a primary means of compassionate care so that my future patients and their families can be informed and supported. I love watching children grow and am passionate about exploring the intersection of prevention, treatment, and long term patient care relations. In the meantime, I am looking to connect with others in the medical field and am interested in gaining more quality improvement and translational research experience within pediatrics.
