Malia Fisher is a media strategist focused on politics and social impact. As the Co-Founder & CEO of Vocal Media, she leads a team of political and social media strategists who build innovative influencer marketing campaigns on TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, and Twitch. Vocal Media has led creative campaigns alongside major social justice and advocacy organizations, including Planned Parenthood, SEIU, and Sierra Club, and many more.Before founding Vocal Media, Malia was an independent consultant specializing in next-gen strategies to help brands, organizations, and candidates reimagine how they communicate their impact to young people. As a communication strategist, Malia advised political campaigns, organizations, and companies on communications, public relations, and youth engagement across a range of issues—including gun violence prevention, voting rights, political data & technology, net neutrality, DACA, and mass incarceration. Malia served for eighteen months on Hillary Clinton’s campaign alongside Campaign Chair, John Podesta. Before joining the campaign she worked at the Center for American Progress (CAP) as a speechwriter for John Podesta and other CAP executives.Malia lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
