Malhar Majumder started his professional career in Corporate Finance with additional responsibility of managing an exempted Provident Fund of a large PSU with over members. He shifted to Personal Finance in 2002. Personal finance which is the superset of Financial Planning was at a nascent stage during early He complemented his professional qualifications (CS and ICWA) with a CFP in 2005. He joined the CFP Board in India (known as Financial Planning Standards Board) as its Head of Knowledge management in Mumbai. After leaving the Board in 2007, he engaged himself in training the corporate leaders of public & private sector banks, asset management companies, and other financial institutions in various aspects of Financial Planning, Equity, Bond Markets and Pension Markets. Further, he developed tools and content in Personal Finance, International Pension systems, Markets & Wealth Management for Stock Exchanges, Software Companies, and KPOs. He started practice in Personal Finance and together with his partner, floated the Brand InvestAffairs in 2015. His firm Positive Vibes currently manages the Personal Finance of more than 450 families across India, Europe, Middle East, Singapore & USA, helping them to solve intricate challenges around their Finances and evolving as informed investors. He has been contributing to popular newspapers and journals regularly since 2005 and helping the cause of Financial Literacy at the grass-root level. He is also teaching regularly in B Schools and facilitate corporate training programs through NSE Academy.
