I am passionate about sustainability, in all its guises, but specialise in all aspects of Sustainability Reporting and Management, including building sustainability into corporate decision making and the measurement and valuation of environmental, social and economic impacts. I see sustainability from a business perspective and talk about it in the language of business - my aim is to inspire the leaders of tomorrow with the sustainability agenda and equip them with the tools to embed sustainability thinking into core operations and decision making. I strongly believe business success is about a winning combination of profit and impact but if senior leaders are not aware of the available tools and frameworks to understand and measure their impact, it will never happen.As far as the Sustainable Development Goals go, I see them as a catalyst for change and, believe they can only be achieved with significant business engagement. Businesses need to align their strategy with the achievement of the goals - helping and not hindering. To achieve this, they will need tools and frameworks to map, measure and monitor, their impact and progress. I am an accomplished and sought after public speaker, having delivered key note contributions at the Rio +20 Summit, the World Bank, the New York Stock Exchange, the UN on several occasions and numerous public and private summits/conferences.What’s my work highlight? I was privileged to attend the ratification of the Sustainable Development Goals at the UN General Assembly in September 2015 - what a moment when 193 governments came together to commit to achieving 17 goals tackling major world issues! Mine is a rich and varied journey. It\'s a good job that I love travelling then! Not so much to see the sights, but to meet the people and learn the difference of culture. I have travelled over every continent in the world (although Antarctica still alludes me).
