PhD in Pharmacology, with post-doctoral training at the NIH in the USA, and MRC in the UK. Spent 19 years at GSK predominantly working in the Respiratory medicine field, leading projects from initial target validation through to Ph2 clinical campaigns. Also lead development of novel human translational models to facilitate clinical decision making. Extensive experience in building biological rationale to support target progression, and clinical development plans to test mechanisms, demonstrate proof of concept and de-risk further development. Also responsible for the development of early market access plans, differentiation of assets and plan to drive reimbursement. Have extensive experience in the development of small and large molecules, and more recently leadership of the early clinical development of a vaccine asset.Have lead global, multidisciplinary clinical development matrix teams, and have significant experience in line management.Currently at Apollo Therapeutics responsible for leadership of novel highly differentiated assets through Ph2 PoC.
