I have an extensive history of IT management and leadership gained from a number of roles across small, medium and larger organisations, covering both inhouse and outsourced IT operations. With many years experience in IT transformation - from the design and build of new commercial software systems, to the transition and change management involved in outsourcing - I have a deep insight into the nature of effective IT management, including standard frameworks such as ITIL. A key element has always been the nurturing of individual and team talent. IT Leadership and transformation, outsourcing, strategic sourcing, people management, vendor management, application development, IT support, financial management, service management - all have helped shape my approach and values. This experience is reflected in my current role - leading the team delivering IT solutions to Carphone Warehouse in the UK and Europe.
