ABOUT MALCOLM MACPHERSON
First Nations business law and strategic negotiation expert. Problem solver. Deal maker. Focus on resource industries - energy, hydro, oil & gas, wind, mining, and forestry. Land Development Agreements, Term Sheets, IBAs and JVs. First Nations engagement and project development. I am focused on working to increase economic development participation by First Nation communities in British Columbia and elsewhere in Canada. While the establishment of rights and title in BC was critically important, going forward, economic development is where the next stage of focus needs to be. I have heard, too many times, Chiefs from various communities remark that train loads and tankers of resources travel past their communities, and that they are not sharing, to the extent they should, in Canada\'s economic resources. It is my life\'s calling to work with First Nation communities keen to get into all aspects of resource extraction and development-who seek to participate, more fully, in the Canadian economy.
