As Project Support Consultant at Pilgrims Hospices, I am supporting the implementation of the Revised Clinical Strategy 2024-27, a key initiative designed to enhance end-of-life care through a truly multi-disciplinary workforce model. My role focuses on ensuring the smooth delivery of this transformation, embedding effective governance, and enabling sustainable improvements in patient care.Key areas of my work include:• Development and Implementation of Project Management Governance – Establishing structured processes and oversight mechanisms to improve project delivery, accountability, and strategic alignment.• Project Management of Think Talk Act and Clinical Workforce Model Projects – Leading these initiatives to support proactive decision-making, foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, and strengthen the clinical workforce.• Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborating with patients, families, caregivers, staff, and external partners to ensure inclusivity and transparency throughout the transition.• Identifying and Addressing Pinch Points – Developing systems to capture operational challenges across business-as-usual and project activities, informing strategic planning and resource allocation.• Change Management – Supporting teams through the transition to new working models and processes, fostering adaptability and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.• Strategic Oversight – Working with HR, IT, Finance, Communications, and other key functions to ensure the successful integration of the clinical strategy across all areas of the organisation.• Fundraising and Community Engagement – Actively participating in initiatives, reflecting my personal commitment to supporting hospice care.My work is underpinned by my core values of compassion, inclusivity, courage, and innovation, ensuring that every aspect of project delivery aligns with Pilgrims Hospices’ mission and long-term vision for high-quality palliative care.
