ABOUT MALAYAJYOTI MOHANTY

With 15 years of experience in the IT industry. Worked as project manager and over 6+ years as a Scrum Master for Agile teams, I act as a servant leader and Agile coach. I facilitate pre-planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure the successful delivery of customer value. I foster strong relationships between the team, product owner, and stakeholders, and collaborate with other Scrum Masters to improve the organization\'s Agile practices. Committed to creating an environment where the team adheres to Agile values and principles, I enable the continuous delivery of working software. My responsibilities include clarifying team goals, scope, and user stories for the Scrum team, as well as removing impediments and external distractions to maintain focus on iteration goals. I manage performance by identifying improvement areas, providing feedback, coaching, training, and developing corrective action plans. I maintain professional and proactive relationships with all teams, both external and internal, and promote capability building by encouraging teams to acquire new skills, adopt new practices, and seek growth opportunities. I possess strong working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, qTest, and Microfocus ALM (HP) project management tools. As a quick learner and outstanding team player, I meet tight deadlines and excel under pressure. My experience spans working with multiple vendors and geographically dispersed teams, and I am adaptable to new environments. I have exceptional communication, interpersonal, coordination, and analytical skills.
