ABOUT MALAVIKA M.
Hi! I\'m a designer with 1.5+ years of experience working at the intersection of product design and learning experience design across different industries.Here\'s the longer version: My work spans civic tech, accessible learning, and storytelling; whether it’s shaping how communities interact with platforms or rethinking how public institutions deliver training.I’ve led research on the online experiences of vulnerable communities (presented to TikTok Canada), redesigned safety training for the NRC (earning two Instant Awards from the Government of Canada), and developed a mobile learning app for autistic children as part of a 4-month redesign sprint.My work has been showcased at CapCHI and recognized internationally, including as a Stanford Design Challenge Finalist (2023) and a Paytm UXNow Finalist (2022).In another life before UX, I scaled content ops at a creative agency, managed 80+ restaurant partners as a Zomato Business Analyst, published foreign policy research with the Observer Research Foundation, and earned top academic honors (Gold Medallist, MOP Vaishnav College; YIF Alum, Ashoka University).I care deeply about civic tech, accessible learning, and the ability to harness storytelling as a force for good.
