ABOUT MALAV BHAGDEV
I am a Partner in Deloitte\'s Large & Complex- Financial Services Group, serving clients within the Insurance practice. I have over 12 years’ experience in the financial services working in London on a range of clients including general insurance companies, Lloyd’s syndicates and insurance brokers, with a specific focus on London Market. In addition to leading external audit engagements, I have also been involved in leading accounting advisory (IFRS 15 and US GAAP conversion) and internal audit (SOX) projects for insurance brokers and Lloyd’s syndicates. Prior to moving into financial services in London, I was based in our Manchester office serving some of our large public interest entity audits in the Regions from 20••••10.I am a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (\"ICAEW\") and I graduated from Liverpool University (Hope College) with a First in BA (Hons) Marketing. I completed my schooling from S.N.Kansagra School (TGES), Rajkot, India. I enjoy running, playing snookers and watching sports, particularly cricket and football.
