The one who changed my life —and my professional path— was not a person, but a dog.When my dog Noa passed away, my world collapsed. I could only move forward by making her a promise: one day I would create a foundation to help stray animals: El Arca de Noa. Today, that promise is a reality, far greater than I ever dreamed: Arca Luminosa.Noa connected me with purpose, which has since become my compass in everything I do. Arca Luminosa became my school, where I discovered the power of bringing good wills together. And my vision expanded with Nave Eureka, a foundation that transforms second-hand books into scholarships.I am currently the founder of two NGOs in Colombia, a professor of innovation for purpose-driven businesses, and Chair of the Community Committee at JTI London. The seed I planted has generated a ripple effect: over 300 stray animals rescued, more than 600 volunteers mobilized, over 10 vulnerable young people awarded scholarships, and hundreds of books sold to fund education.I bring 12 years of experience in the corporate world, 8 years in social entrepreneurship, and 31 years of loving every dog that has crossed my path.I believe in and lead the revolution of purpose-driven companies: the awakening of consumers to demand a genuine “why”, one that transforms the world beyond the mere pursuit of profit.I have been honored with the following awards:JTI UK Outstanding Contribution (2025) for the transformation of the forecasting process with Machine Learning.Social Innovation Lab by IDPAC and the National University (2019) for the Life Collar initiative by Arca Luminosa.Aflora Award (2023) granted by Fundación Bolívar Davivienda to Nave Eureka.Bogotá Zoolidaria Award (2018) recognizing the foster care network of Arca Luminosa.
