ABOUT MAKSUDUL ALAM
I am a mechanical engineer interested in CAD, CAM, and CAE, and I have over 7 years of experience in CAD modeling. I am a Certified Solidworks Expert and also proficient in Catia generative shape design, part design, and assembly design, as well as Hypermesh, CNC programming, and 3D printing. In my third year of mechanical engineering, I served as the CEO of CADers, the first student design club in our country, and conducted workshops on AutoCAD and Solidworks. This experience allowed me to develop strong leadership skills and effective stress management techniques while maintaining a high level of academic performance. Following my graduation, I worked as a lecturer at City University, Bangladesh, for one and a half years. Later, I pursued my Master\'s degree at Concordia University in Canada. As a graduate research assistant in the Design and Additive Manufacturing (DAM) Lab under the supervision of Dr. Tsz Ho Kwok, I obtained practical experience in various domains and tools, including generative design, artificial intelligence, lattice structures, metaheuristic optimization, additive manufacturing, finite element analysis, stress analysis, Matlab, and Ansys. During my time at Concordia, I also received prestigious awards such as the Concordia University International Tuition Award of Excellence (MEN) and the Concordia University Split Merit Scholarship. Additionally, I worked as a teaching assistant and participated in an internship through the Mitacs Accelerate program.
