I’m a hands-on AI/ML builder-leader who thrives in frontier technical domains: ambiguous environments, messy data, hard constraints, and problems that do not come with a clean playbook.My career has focused on turning complex ideas into working systems across insurance, fintech, SaaS, and intelligent systems. I’ve built production ML solutions, analytics platforms, data products, and scalable workflows spanning applied machine learning, LLM/RAG systems, MLOps, platform architecture, and real-world deployment. I do my best work where modeling, software, and operational reality meet, especially when the job is to create clarity, design the system, and get something useful into the field.I’m currently a Senior Data Science Manager at Ubiety, where I lead a data science team using AI and RF signal data to improve home security. The work sits at the intersection of machine learning, sensing, and physical-world intelligence, with a focus on turning complex signal data into practical security capabilities.I’ve worked across organizations including The Standard, Farmers, Northwestern Mutual, Openly, and Milliman, and previously served as CTO of an insurtech startup, helping build the technical foundation for an AI-native document intelligence platform. I’m most valuable in roles that demand judgment under ambiguity, strong technical instincts, and the ability to move from concept to execution.I’m also the Founder of Roland Guard, where I study flow, friction, and operational performance in hotels, casinos, live events, and digital experiences. That work reflects a broader theme in my career: I’m interested in applied intelligence systems that improve decisions, reduce friction, and make complex environments work better.
