ABOUT NATHAN PARKER
With an established career in the IT industry, encompassing domains such as DevOps, Cloud Architecture, Platform Engineering, and more, I currently hold the position of Senior Cloud Architect. I specialize in engineering, designing, and troubleshooting large-scale, production-grade distributed systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) with a focus on Kubernetes system performance and security. An autodidact and lifelong learner, I possess certifications in Cloud Architecture, Kubernetes Administration, Cloud and Container Security. At DoIT I am on the GenAI specialist team, and provide training to our customers engineering teams on LLM agent design, system architecture, and product integration expertise. I am also co-founder of an international NGO dedicated to developing an open-source, peer-to-peer supply chain for disaster resilience and response. Outside of work, I dedicate my time to various non-profit organizations, reflecting my interest in fostering security and accessibility in technology. I am deeply involved in projects such as the Biohacker Village at DEFCON, focusing on the security of biomedical devices and hospital IT systems.
