ABOUT MAKENZIE ROBINSON
At Distant Moon, we’re building toward becoming the most impactful film studio of the 21st century — creating stories that challenge audiences to wrestle with life’s deepest questions and see the world more clearly. My role is to ensure those stories are not only visionary, but exceptionally executed. As a Line Producer, I oversee the financial and logistical backbone of our productions. I design the systems that support creative excellence — aligning teams, solving problems before they surface, and protecting both the story and the resources entrusted to it. Producing, to me, is stewardship: Stewarding capital responsibly. Stewarding teams with clarity and trust. Stewarding stories with care and integrity. I care about building strong production cultures — where excellence is the baseline, communication is direct, and ambitious ideas are supported by real structure.
