ABOUT MAKENNA SHIRLEY
I am a motivated junior at Auburn University pursuing a degree in accounting, with a strong interest in financial reporting and taxation. Growing up in small town Oneonta, Alabama, I recognized early on the limited access many individuals have to clear and reliable tax knowledge. This has inspired me to use my accounting education to help others better understand and navigate the complexities of taxes.I plan to complete my undergraduate degree in December 2026, followed by an internship to further develop my practical experience. Afterward, I intend to pursue a Master of Accountancy and sit for the CPA exam. I am eager to continue building my skills and contributing meaningfully to the accounting profession.
