About Makenna
As a second year student in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, I am working toward a business administration degree in Finance with a minor in advertising and public relations in the CCI school. I also plan to take on a concentration in international business. I have been able to develop an analytical problem solving approach through my past coursework, which I apply to my current work. My minor has allowed me to foster a creative strategy in work such as Free People. Looking ahead, I plan to incorporate both my major and minor into the corporate world after I complete my degree. Within the next two years, I plan on taking on an international business concentration abroad. This will provide a unique opportunity to see how business is studied globally. I am excited to build my skills and expand my network.
