ABOUT MAKENNA MORRISON GARY
I\'m an aspiring environmental scientist and advocate focused on the intersections of conservation, toxicology, and environmental justice. My research spans turtle health, plastic biodegradation, frog movement ecology, and pesticide exposure in Florida farmworker communities.Through hands-on fieldwork and internships with organizations like Orange County Environmental Protection Division and Florida Fish and Wildlife, I’ve gained experience in ecological monitoring, data analysis, outreach, and science communication.I’m especially passionate about using research to inform policy and protect vulnerable ecosystems and communities.
