Hello! My name is Makena Davis.I am a third-year Business Administration student with an emphasis in Marketing and double minors in Health Sciences and the Business of Entertainment. My academic path and leadership experiences reflect my passion for creativity, communication, and building meaningful connections.Through my roles as the Social Media Coordinator for a preschool and being a Co-Director of Marketing for the professional business fraternity (Delta Sigma Pi), I developed content strategies, coordinated campaigns, and learned how to balance creativity with organization. I relied on tools like Canva to design engaging visuals, Apple Calendar to plan and track posting schedules, and Notion and Google Workspace to manage content workflows and streamline communication. In my leadership role as Vice President of Chapter Operations, I strengthened my organizational and planning abilities while using Google Workspace to collaborate effectively, honing my communication skills as a leader to other members within the organization. In addition, I have built strong proficiency in Excel through my undergraduate business coursework, applying it to projects that required data analysis and structured planning.Outside of academics, I enjoy reading (currently aiming for one book each month) and prioritizing health and wellness through consistent routines—values that mirror my goal-oriented mindset.Looking ahead, I am eager to pursue internships that expand my marketing experience, with a particular interest in the sports and entertainment industries. At the same time, I am open to exploring other areas within marketing where I can contribute my creativity, resilience, and drive for meaningful results.

   Oversee the administrative operations that keep our chapter running smoothly and efficiently- Manage attendance at all mandatory events, enforcing attendance and badge attire policies- Maintain chapter records, and keeping our roster, calendar, and contact information up to date each semester- Organize CIMS meetings, handling CIMS cases, adding new members to MyAlphaGam- Take minutes at Executive Council meetings- Oversee the Director of Communications, providing strategic guidance and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
