ABOUT SASHA MAKAROVYCH

I am a co-founder at Kadmos, an end-to-end salary payments platform for migrant workers. We are very passionate about bringing state-of-the-art financial technology to global migrant worker population. Our first industry is shipping, where we help shipping companies pay salaries to their crew. I grew up in the south of Ukraine, which is huge on shipping and many of my family members either work for shipping companies or are seafarers themselves.I have a Master\'s degree in Finance from MIT, where I also worked on a research project with Seed CX, a digital asset exchange platform. I also have a Master\'s and a Bachelor\'s degree in International Business from Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, where I graduated with honors.Before Kadmos I spent 6 years doing data science and analysis in gaming. I am an avid gamer myself, and I am very passionate about the industry. I worked as a Senior/Lead Data Analyst at Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. Games, where I built the analytics team, defined and executed the analytics vision and roadmap. I also worked as a Data Scientist at Massive Entertainment, where I applied machine learning and statistical techniques to analyze user behavior, preferences, and feedback. I have several publications and certifications in data science and gaming.
