Key Accomplishments:•Designed a time management system and staffing schedule to optimize efficiency, resulting in faster delivery & a wider area of service coverage. •Renegotiated prior purchasing contracts resulting in reduced paper product cost by 6%.•Held expert food service training courses for unemployed and at-risk individuals; awarded and graduated on average 65 certifications yearly.•Created an outreach advocacy coalition to promote healthy eating in critical high districts designated as ‘food deserts’ by federal agencies.•Reduced our ecological footprint through focusing more strategically on buying local and providing seasonal produce.•Expanded & diversified our service areas and communities to meet the needs of elderly, family units and more children populations. •Rapidly responded to the crisis of Covid-19 by re-designing our delivery systems and identifying new venues for service to feed an average of 4K individuals a day; increasing weekly. •Collaborated within a large county region to fight hunger in partnership with the Baltimore Hunger Project and the Support Youth Network making it possible to provide 5K meals to the community weekly.
