The EE ltd / BT consumer has over 30 million customers and more than 600 stores on the high street. It is the largest provider of consumer mobile and fixed broadband communications services in the UK. EE Supply chain is a part of BT Consumer which manages the fixed and mobile equipment. Within the Consumer supply chain fixed equipment team, I manage the inbound logistics operations which requires me to work very closely with forecasting team, product managers, vendors and the Freight forwarders.Key Accomplishments Managed & contributed to a multiple projects involving brand consolidation, onboarding suppliers, transitioning product line and the warehousing functions. Proactively improved the supplier engagement by implementing routing and pricing strategies which resulted in up to 17% cost savings on freight spending. Implemented cost tracking for multiple business lines within the supply chain function to achieve improved forecast accuracy. Successfully developed wider area of expertise to support planning, forecasting logistics, freight budgeting as well as forward planning of products to retailers. Driven operational efficiencies by implementing a simplified approach to stock projection reporting. This reduced the processing time from two days to half a day per week. I have also enhanced the reports with additional functionality such as container and pallet count to help warehousing team with resource planning. Managed complete responsibility of stock movement reporting from the point of order submission through to product delivery of more than 200 SKU’s. Developed enhanced excel reporting tool for waste electrical electronic equipment to capture and provide accurate periodic data to HM government regulator. Trained multiple individual on variety of the business functions by utilising different management styles and catering to individual needs.
